The End of the Pink Season
The last of the double-blossomed Japanese Cherry trees are dropping their petals, and blankets of the pink snow are covering the lawns, drifts piling on the edges of trails and roads. We have passed through the gateway to Spring.

I've been watching the trees all over in the Puget Sound - they look like they have clouds attached to their branches. I can't wait for warmer weather!

Ensie - Yes, it's not just the cherries, but the hawthornes, lilacs, rhodies, camellias. Walking outside is like walking into a bouquet!

Hi Cascadia! March is the time for the bluebonnets to startup and then they usually do their grand finale in April

This reminds me of the blossoms in Spring back in the north-eastern suburbs of Sydney... really beautiful and just a shower of pinks and fresh greens.

Have been meaning for years to make it to the great down under. I should come during our fall so I could catch YOUR pink season!
